Text:
Luke 24:36-44

Memory Verse:
“Then He said to them, ‘These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me’”(Luke 24:44).

When you say a writing is fulfilled, it means it has come to pass. WThis can be better understood when you talk about play or script writing. At one time, it is a written play and, at another time, it is
being acted out as a reality, and will no longer just be on paper. Jesus stated clearly, that all that was written of Him in the Law of Moses, of the Prophets and even in the Psalms concerning Him must be fulfilled. He said this as a result of the disciples’ encounter that brought unbelief. Jesus gave them proof that He is the one that had risen physically by asking them to touch His hands and feet. He requested that they should give Him food to eat, just to prove to them that He was the risen One.
As believers today, we must have confidence in God’s word, that whatever He has written concerning us in the Scripture, will surely be fulfilled. It will come to pass, no matter how difficult it might look. The disciples could not believe that they were seeing Jesus physically, having seen all that was done to Him, how He died and was buried. They had forgotten that it was written that He
would rise up the third day; so Jesus had to remind them. Be reminded of His word and take solace in them; particularly, on any word that He has given you personally, Be assured, no matter how long it takes, it will surely come to pass.

Prayer Points:
1. Father, let all that You have written concerning me come to fulfilment.
2. Help me, dear Father, to trust in Your unfailing word.
