Text: 1 Peter 2:9-10, 2 Corinthians 3:3-7
Memory Verse: “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light” (1 Peter 2:9).
Apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 3:3 that we believers are an epistle of Christ. Some people never go to church or listen to a sermon or read the Bible, instead, they are reading your life, and they are watching how you live. This is why you must make sure you look and live the best you possibly can; living with excellence. We have people in the Bible (Joseph, David, Daniel, Paul, to mention a few) who lived as ambassadors of Christ with excellence and left for us an example to follow in their footsteps. Daniel operated so much with excellence that, when they wanted to plot against him, they could not find any fault in him (Daniel 6:4-9) and even Jesus Himself, the epitome of excellence, said “the prince of this world comes but finds nothing in me” (John 14:30).
The Almighty God lives in you, and you represent Him. As His Ambassador, make sure to represent God in a way that brings praise to Him, whether it is through your life, your house, your car, your clothes, your cubicle, or your
office. You may be in a situation today where everybody around you is compromising their integrity or taking the easy way out. Do not join them. Be the one to have an excellent spirit. Be a cut above and set the highest
standard. Live in a manner that will enable people to be attracted to your God. Be an Ambassador with excellence!
Prayer Points:
1. Father, thank You for calling me to be a person of excellence and to always be my best in everything I do.
2. Help me Lord that excellence may always flow out of my life.
