Text:
1Corinthians 2: 9-16
Memory Verse:
“But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him” (1 Corinthians 2:9).
A woman gave a testimony in church. After singing a song in praise of God, she started rolling on the floor from one end of the Altar to the other. When she stood up, she appreciated what God had done for her, sharing that while she was in Church she had received an instruction through
the sermon of the day and that when she obeyed, it broke the jinx of many years.
Many people attend church services every week, but their lives remain the same. They hear the messages, say the prayers, yet there is no impact; nothing changes in their lives. It is the same old story and out of frustration they stop coming. Whereas, others receive the same messages, say the prayers and have results because they believe. When they testify of what God has done, they
become the news and men spread abroad what God has done in their lives (Romans 8:28).
How long will you go about telling the news about others? It is time for you to be the news others will spread abroad. That is, your life will manifest greater testimonies of the works of God. It starts with your attitude. A change in your attitude will lead you to the path of testimonies in the following ways:
1. Being attentive to the sermon.
2. Having a believing heart.
3. Receiving instructions from God and acting on them.
4. Waiting on God and trusting Him to fulfil His promises.
Be a blessing to others by testifying of what God has done, for it is your time to testify.
Prayer Points:
1. God, give me breakthroughs that will cause men to glorify Your name..
2. Give me a believing heart, O God, that will make me a wonder among men.
