BEHOLD I MAKE ALL THINGS NEW

Text: Revelation 21:1-8

Memory Verse: “Then He who sat on the throne said, ‘Behold, I make all things new.’ And He said to me, ‘Write, for these words are true and faithful’”(Revelation 21:5).

It is a great thing to have something good to look forward to. Perfect fellowship with God in a sinless community forever! That’s what God has Iplanned for His children. Before this newness, however, there will be a judgement (Revelation 20:11-15).Newness always means putting away or replacement of the old. We are, of course, all conversant with buying new things – clothes, cars, houses – and discarding the old. The excitement these mundane things bring cannot be
compared with the newness God has promised. The amazing things we need to look forward to include God’s dwelling, the new heaven, the new Jerusalem and the city where all saints who have scaled through the earlier judgement will dwell. God will come down to dwell with His people and this has implications. It means a continuous fellowship with God. This eternal state will be greater than the one Adam had. His fellowship with God was not constant; God only visited at certain times. Our eternal fellowship with God will be continuous in the mansions He has gone ahead to prepare for us (John 14:6). This community will also be without death, sorrow, tears or pains and it will be in fulfilment of Bible prophecy (Isaiah 25:8). God has promised to make all things new. Are you expectant? Atime of refreshing is coming to make up for all you seem to have given up for Christ’s sake. It will all be worth it in the end. Keep holding on.

Prayer Points:
1. Lord, I thank You for Your promise to make all things new.
2. Lord, Please keep my feet from falling till You return.
