Ephesians 2:1-6, 10-11
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10).
When one is created in Christ, everything concerning him changes entirely; from being natural to being transformed. God is good and everything He created: the heavens, waters, light, firmaments etc. are good (Genesis 1:1-10). He transforms us from being sinners to winners in Him by the greatest love He has for us. By giving Christ Jesus as a ransom for our souls from destruction we are made to sit in heavenly places so that in years to come, He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness towards us (Ephesians 2:7).
Likewise, maybe your lifestyle has been such that your conscience or people around you condemn you. You should, therefore, know by now that you need a transformation in your life from the old nature of sin, which manifests through lust, disobedience, adultery, treachery, nonchalance to the things of God etc. to a redefined life of Christ. His grace, mercies and exceeding riches are sufficient
for you when you do this. “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me” (Galatians 2:20). You have been called out for good works; living exemplary lives of Christ and being a kingdom figure to people, both far and near. Do not be discouraged, but keep up the good work and you will not regret doing so.
1. Lord, help me to continue being in You.
2. Father, give me the grace to fulfil all that is expected of me.
