Text: 1 Corinthians 13:1-5

Memory Verse: “Though Ispeak with the tongue ofman andof an angel, but have no love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal” (1 Corinthians 13:1).
One of the greatest threats to the world we live in is the lack of love. OGod is love and we must love each other. If we can love one another as the Bible commands, then the world would be a better place. Although there are natural tendencies for humans to be unkind in many cases, as Christians, we must maintain our godly virtues. Love is a Christ like nature, it transforms you and you become a joyful soul.

Having received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour, His joyful Spirit dwells in you. Love is kind and extremely humble. Love isnot proud or arrogant. Love islong suffering. As believers wemust maintain ourhumility
and reverence to God. If you can pray that night should become dayand wrought diverse miracles, without love, you are just wasting your time. God loves usgreatly and gave His only begotten Son to die for our sins (John 3:16). Love isan expression that never fails.
It is love that makes us grateful, humble, kind and friendly towards other human beings. The love of God in us always stands the test of time. It pulls you through the hardest times and gives you strength to carry on. If you are growing spiritually or you have the Spirit of Christ in you, you will truly love your neighbour, irrespective of who they are. Therefore, be determined to love God and your neighbours.

Prayer Points:
1. Lord, help me to display Your love wherever I go.
2. Help me to love You for the rest of my life, dear Lord.
