God Will Work In Our Midst

Text:
Deuteronomy 23:9-14

Memory Verse:
“For the Lord your God walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you and to give up your enemies before you; therefore shall your camp be holy, that He sees no unclean thing in you and turns away from you” (Deuteronomy 23:14).

God walks in the midst of His people with the purpose of delivering them from every bondage of the devil (Exodus 6:6-8). He also provides for the needs of His children because He is a great provider.
When the Spirit of God walked in the midst of the dry bones in Ezekiel 37:4-8, suddenly the dry bones came alive. The power of God was released upon them and they started locating and connecting to one another. God also walked in the midst of His people in the wilderness. When there was scarcity of food and water, they cried to Him and help came from above (Exodus 16:22-28).

Are you depressed, oppressed or facing one challenge or the other? Run to God and He will surely deliver you. He is always ready and available to listen to your cries. He specialises in intervening in the affairs of His children; so, don’t despair. Even if it seems there is darkness everywhere, be assured that there will be light at the end of the tunnel. As long as you are a child of God, He will come through for you. Weeping may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning. For God to walk in our midst, we need to:
1. Embrace holiness and righteousness.
2. Pray consistently because prayer is the key that opens the door of all impossibilities.
3. Lay aside all malice, envy, strife, hatred and unforgiveness. Do you want God to walk with you and in your situation? Call upon Him and be expectant. He will answer you.

Prayer Points:
1. O Lord, my father, walk through my family, church and the nation, Nigeria.
2. Lord, have Your way in my life.
