Text:
Proverbs 3:1-6
Memory Verse: “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5).
According to the scriptures “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, Abut we will remember the name of the LORD our God (Psalm 20:7). We must choose to trust in God. Everyone can trust God when things are going right. Trust in God is easy when every need is met and every bill is paid, but what happens when it appears that things are going wrong? That is when you need to learn to trust God. No matter what is going on around you, anchor your life on the word of God; do not reduce the reading of the Bible. Let the word of God be more imperative than your daily food. That is why you need to be constantly full of the word. Store it in your heart, so that when challenges come, the word you have stored in your heart will flow forth.
What God needs to do is just to speak a word and something will shift in the spirit. Be challenged to believe every word of God. When God instructs in a certain direction, it means that the thing is settled. Can you believe Him today? It is not how long you have been in the predicament that matters to God. Just let your eyes be on Jesus because He is the author and finisher of your faith.
Abraham, Joseph, David, Zachariah and many others experienced delay, but, in the end, God came through for them. Trust God, no matter what, and you will never be disappointed.
Prayer Points:
1. Lord, help me to continually trust in You daily.
2. Lord, help me wait on You till Your word is fulfilled in my life.
