Ephesians 2:11-18

Memory Verse:
“that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ” (Ephesians 2:12&13).

God created man, the best of His workmanship, and crowned him with glory and honour. He made all things subject to him, but man fell when he yielded to sin, making him lose his position. He witnessed the horror of sin; separation from God, nakedness, blindness, homelessness and the captivity of Satan. Every attempt for him to help himself sent him farther from God, and he became hopeless, until the love of God was revealed in Jesus Christ.

Many of us have seen this hope of glory and honour restored to us in the Lord Jesus, while some are yet to surrender all. God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them (2 Corinthians 5:19).
Paul who was stuck in the religion of his fathers and persecuted Jesus, received this hope. The thief by Jesus’ side at Calvary and the woman caught in the very act of adultery were forgiven and repositioned to glory. Also, the madman of Gadarene was restored.

Have you received this hope in Christ alone? Are you thinking you have gone too far in sin to be forgiven? Are you stuck in the religion of your fathers who worshipped false gods? Jesus Christ is all you need today. He paid for it all by His blood. Just open up to Him, confess your sins and ask for His Mercy. He is willing to forgive and restore you.
Take a bold step today. Jesus Christ in you, is the hope of glory.

Prayer Points:
1. Lord, have mercy on me.
2. Lord, open my eyes to maximize the benefits of the Kingdom.
