Text:
Luke 10:17-19, Psalm 102:24-28
Memory Verse:
“I said, ‘O my God, Do not take me away in the midst of my
days; Your years are throughout all generations’” (Psalm 102: 24).
A miracle is an extraordinary and welcome event that cannot be explained by natural or scientific laws. It is, therefore, attributed to a divine agency. It is a manifestation of divine intervention in human affairs, such as the healing miracles described in the Gospels. What physical reasons can be given for the healing of a woman who had been suffering from an incessant flow of blood for 12 years, who suddenly received her healing without surgery?
Reading through the scriptures, you will discover that it hardly seems to be
God’s intention for a righteous man to fall ill and die from a terminal or debilitating disease. Whoever finds himself in this condition needs a miracle.
When the disciples returned from the mission on which Jesus had sent them,
they came back with joyful news. They testified that even the demons were
subject to them in Jesus’ name. Jesus confirmed their testimony when He
replied that He saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. God’s interventions
during this mission of the seventy were sheer miracles. When Satan loses his
grip over a soul, God moves in with a great deliverance.
Do you want to receive God’s miracle on a continuous basis? Get into a life of
expectant prayer and stir up faith by constantly reading the word of God.
There is power in the name of Jesus. He has the ability to touch every life and
He will give a miracle to anyone who approaches Him in faith.
Prayer Points:
1. Touch my life, O Lord.
2. I need a miracle – help me, O God.
