Psalm 102:12-17

Memory Verse:
“You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favour her, Yes, the set time, has come” (Psalm 102:13).

When God said He will arise and have mercy upon Zion, why did WHe decide to show mercy first? It is because mercy always goes ahead of favour. You must first be exempted from what could have befallen you, then undeserved blessings will follow. You are blessed because of mercy. Whatever the enemy has stolen from you shall be restored because of mercy. Restoration is yours. Do not ask how it will happen, just trust in His mercy. All things are possible to him who believes. The children of Israel were in the wilderness for 40 years. They must have been wondering if they would ever get to the Promised Land and how it would happen. There were giants in the land, the walls of the cities were high and thick, and they had been slaves all their lives. They had forgotten the mercy of
God and, as long as they wondered, they kept moving round and round. Stop wondering how your breakthrough will happen. Stop wondering how restoration will happen. Mercy will speak for you. “So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy” (Romans 9:16). God is set to favour you, He is set to lift you and restore everything that was stolen from you. The only thing that can hinder Him from bringing this to pass in your life is if you are not living right before Him. So, ensure you are in rightstanding with Him.

Prayer Points:
1. Lord, let Your mercy speak for me.
2. Lord, help me to be in right standing with You.
