Text: 2 Corinthians 10:1-6
Memory Verse: “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds” (2 Corinthians 10:4).
stronghold is a place where a particular cause or belief is strongly Adefended or upheld. When the Bible speaks of a stronghold, it also refers to an area in your life that is controlled by wrong thinking. That stronghold will attract people who think the same way and feed off it. Some people worry obsessively about money because they grew up in hard times. As a result, they are inclined to depend more on themselves than on God. When it comes to money, they hide, hoard, or withhold it. And because they are afraid to sow it, they miss the very harvest that would solve their problem. Some people’s stronghold has to do with negative thinking/imagination, wrong mindset etc.
Whatever your stronghold is, the good news is that, not only will God reveal it to you, He will show you the experiences that caused them and the way out.
You do not have to crash under its influence or be crushed by it. To deal with your stronghold, attack it with the word of God. The Bible is described as “the sword that the Spirit wields, which is the Word of God” (Ephesians 6:17 AMPC). So the Holy Spirit within you will wield the sword of Scripture for you—provided you have done your job, which is to get the Word of God inside you. Do you want to pull down the strongholds in your life? Reprogram your mind with the truth of God’s Word.

1. Father, please reveal the strongholds in my life to me.
2. Holy Spirit, please help me to reprogram my mind with the truths of God’s Word.
