Luke 6:12-19.
Memory Verse:
“Now it came to pass in those days, that He went out to the
mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God” (Luke 6:12).
Jesus is the greatest man in history who produced unrivalled and unparalleled feats within the incredible space of three and a half years. The indispensable secret of His phenomenal life and ministry was in His zeal for prayer. Despite being the Son of God, prayer was never optional, but a topmost priority to Jesus “Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart” (Luke 18:1).
When you pray, you will enjoy unlimited access to God that will catapult you
to fulfilment through:
1. Partnership with God. “When all the people were baptised, it came to pass
that Jesus also was baptised; and while He prayed, the heaven was opened.
And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a
voice came from heaven which said, “You are My beloved Son; in You I am
well pleased” (Luke 3:21-22).
2. Revelations from God. “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you
great and mighty things, which you do not know” (Jeremiah 33:3).
3. Answersby God. “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find;
knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he
who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened” (Matthew 7:7-8).
4. Yieldedness to God.
The secret of fulfilment is persistent prayers to God, therefore don’t be weary in the place of prayers. Rest assured: God answers prayers.

1. O Lord, clothe me with the zeal to pray.
2. Father, help me to access Your presence always.
