Hebrews 11:1-6
Memory Verse:
“For he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” (Hebrews 11:6b).
To trust God is to fully lean on Him and be expectant, no matter how Tlong it takes. Do not think that God is too slow because you have not received answers to your prayers. He makes everything beautiful in His own time; keep on trusting Him. One day I came back from shopping with lots of sweets and biscuits. Seeing many children playing outside, I shared the goodies with them, but did not give anything to my daughter. The others started to make jest of her and she began to cry and ran inside the house. There, I brought out the beautiful dress and lovely pair of shoes I had bought for her. She started laughing. We hugged each other and she said, “I’m sorry for not trusting and believing in you mum.” I told her that it was because her gift was special that I did not give it to her
right away.
You might have been waiting for something special from God. Lean on Him and trust Him. Remember Sarah, though she doubted God, she still gave birth to the promised child. No matter your condition, God will never forget or forsake you as long as you are His child. He is the master planner. Trust Him, believe in Him and He will surely bring it to pass. In John 13:7(NIV), Jesus said, “You do not realise now what I’m doing, but later you will understand.” God keeps the best for His children, do not move ahead of Him.
Prayer Points:
1. I want to receive the best from You Lord, help me to trust You.
2. I will not miss my reward here on earth and in heaven.
