Psalm 91:1-10
Memory Verse:
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty” (Psalm 91:1).
Those being used by God mightily in ministry are not made in the public; they are made in the secret place. Every child of God that wants to excel in life and in ministry must be acquainted with the secret place. The secret place is a place of revelation and power; it is a place of
encounter and power with God. This year you need to have a solitary place where your communication with God can be total. Jesus did the same and left for us an example to follow in His steps. However, there are qualifications for dwelling in the secret place of the most High:
1. You must be genuinely born again. The old man in you must be replaced with the new man (the Spirit of God). You must be filled with His Spirit and also be rooted and grounded in Him.
2. Your heart and your hands must be pure and clean (Psalm 24:1-4). A pure heart will have no place for keeping a record of the wrongs done by others. A pure heart will have no place for other gods. There are benefits that His children are entitled to in this secret place. Some of
these benefits are:
1.God will cover you with His feathers. In times of trouble and confusion He will protect you and save you from your enemies.
2.He will reveal secret things to you in your secret place. Secrets were revealed to Daniel in the secret place (Daniel 10:1).
How well are you using your secret place with God?
Prayer Points:
1. Lord, let there be revival in my secret place this year.
2. O Lord, let me receive revelations from You as I spend quality time in the secret place this year
