Text:
John 14: 1-10
Memory Verse:
“If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him. Philip said to Him, ‘Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us'” (John 14: 7&8).
Have you ever tried to embark on a journey to a place you are not familiar with? The first thing you do is to ask for directions and then you begin your trip. While on the journey, you would ensure to
either check the map or inquire from people in the area till you get to your destination.
Many have tried and are trying to find a way to God the Father and this has led to people creating wrong channels to God. Although they seem to have found a way, the truth is that they only found a medium which is not the way to God. The Bible says that Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father. Any other way created by men will lead to destruction.
Essentially, to have full access through Jesus Christ, you must confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that He was raised from the dead (Romans 10:9). You then begin to conform to His way and will. Like a little child, since you have taken the first steps to Him, you must not relent in Bible study and prayers.
You must also become a member of a Bible-believing church fo growth and communion. As believers, no one ever outgrows these principles because in them lie the bases for growth and the way to the Father. In John 14:6 Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes
to the father, but through Me.” Jesus is the only way to the Father.
