John 9:1-6
Memory Verse:
“Jesus answered, ‘Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him’” (John 9:3).
God is awesome! He made all things. “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1). All things are the works of His hands. He has worked and He is still working, doing marvellous things. John 9:1-11 shows the work of God. The man was born blind not because of sin,
but because God needed to show that He was able to do all things. He was born blind not because either of his parents sinned, but that humanity might see that God has the power and ability to restore sight to the blind. If He can give sight to the blind, He can as well heal the sick and handle any other seemingly difficult situation.
Today, God still allows certain situations to happen around us or in our lives, so that He can show and prove that He is able to do all things. The problems come, not necessarily because we have sinned, but to show that He can handle every problem. If you have this understanding, you will not need to fret over anything. All you need to do is to come to Jesus, present the issue to Him and it
is certain that He will handle it.
Jesus said with men, certain things are impossible, but with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). God is still doing wonders. Trust Him today and He will show His wonderful works in your life and situation.
