Text: Ephesians 1:15-23
Memory Verse: “That you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him,
being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God”
(Colossians 1:10).
As a believer, your life is anchored on the Truth that never lies or fails. Your faith in Jesus Christ marks the beginning of a lifelong journey built on the eternal truth found in the treasure chest of the Living Word; the Bible. Do you know why the devil uses all possible distractions, including social media, to keep you from reading your Bible? Satan knows that truth liberates. That is why it is so easy to spend three hours on Facebook, yet just five minutes in the Word feels like hard labour. The enemy understands that once you encounter truth, you will find your way to eternal freedom without struggle.
To the Christian, God’s truth is revealed in three dimensions:
1. General truths — foundational commands and doctrines applicable to all believers.
2. Daily truths — instructions, counsel, and correction relevant for your daily walk, relationships, and choices.
3. Revelational truth — personalised insight from God, specific to your situation. This is the kind of truth that activates faith for the miraculous and extraordinary.
When you gain revelation, your dependence on others to pray or intercede for your breakthrough begins to reduce. Why? Because you now carry divine keys to open your doors. Revelation empowers you for victory.
Has God opened your eyes to see the truth He’s prepared for you? Seek His face to identify the truth (Ephesians 1:16-22). The truth of Jesus Christ as revealed in His word and by His Spirit, will continually set you free!
Prayer Points:
1. Lord, may the devil not succeed in keeping me away from the truth.
2. Father, let the truth trigger faith in me for the miraculous.
