Text: 1 Corinthians 15: 12-19
Memory Verse: “Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?” (1Corinthians 15:12).
Many attempts have been made throughout history to disprove the work of salvation accomplished through Jesus’ death and resurrection. The Pharisees, in their fear and unbelief, took extreme precautions to seal and guard the tomb, determined to silence His testimony
once and for all. But no earthly guard, no stone, and no scheme of man could stop the plan of God. On the third day, the King of Glory, the Author of Life, defied death and rose triumphantly from the grave!
When the women arrived at the tomb, they found it empty. The power of sin, hell, and the grave was shattered forever (Luke 24:22-24). The resurrection of Jesus is the very foundation of our Christian faith. It validates His identity as the Son of God, His authority over death, and the certainty of our eternal life.
Because He lives, we too shall live. Jesus’ bodily resurrection assures us that death is not the end, but a passage into glorious eternity for the believer. The same resurrection power that raised Jesus from the dead is still active today, ready to breathe life into every dead hope, purpose, marriage, dream, and promise in your life.
We are not preaching a dead Saviour. We proclaim a risen, living, reigning Lord! Let this truth ignite your faith and deepen your witness. Jesus conquered the grave, and through Him, we are more than conquerors. Hallelujah! Let the whole world hear it. He is Risen indeed!
Prayer Points:
1. Lord, let every good thing that has died in me come alive.
2. My covenant of life will never be annulled.
