Text: John 3:12-18
Memory Verse: “For God so loved the world that He gave His Only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

Some of us will be very quick to answer that question, saying, “Yes, of course.” How can you say you love God that you cannot see when you do Snot love your fellow human beings that you see every day? If you say you love God, when you come into the church and you find the toilets dirty, are you
quick to blame the sanitation team or you get the cleaning done yourself?

There are so many little things you can do to show your love and appreciation to God. It is not only when you bring offerings to the church that you love Him. In John 3:16, Jesus laid His life for you, and God expects you to reciprocate, not necessarily by laying down your life physically, but by showing God in different ways that you love Him.

Galatians 6:10 says the greatest beneficiaries of your love should be those of the household of faith. You must love God and people by preaching the salvation of the cross to them and bringing them to the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Paul, the apostle, faced all forms of trials and tribulations just to preach the word of God. When the trumpet sounds, God will take all who love Him wholeheartedly to be with Him in heaven. Give the Holy Spirit a chance in your life, and loving God and the brethren will be your topmost priority. Jesus gave His all; you also can give your all.

Prayer Points:
1. Lord, help me to love You with the whole of my life.
2. Also, help me to love people of the household of faith with a genuine love as
I await Your second coming.
