Text: Mark 5:25-34
Memory Verse: “And He said to her, ‘Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction’” (Mark 5:34).

When Jesus crossed over from the country of the Gadarenes to the other side of the sea, a large crowd welcomed Him. Among them was a man named Jairus, who fell at Jesus’ feet, pleading for healing for his dying daughter.

Also present was a woman who had suffered from an issue of blood for twelve years (Matthew 9:20-22). She had spent all her resources seeking medical help, but her condition only worsened. She believed in her heart for a healing that if she’s able to touch Jesus’ garment, her bleeding will stop. She had what others lacked; faith that works.

Luke 8:45 records Jesus saying, “Somebody touched me.” Though many thronged Him, only one touch drew power from Him. Why? Because it was a touch of faith. Today, many come to church for different reasons; some seek
business connections, others come for fashion and social attention, and some expect help from people, not from God.

Only those who come with faith in Jesus receive His touch. The men of Gennesaret recognised this and pleaded that the sick in their land might touch the hem of His garment (Matthew 14:35&36). Your faith must go beyond words, it must be active. Like the woman with the issue of blood, believe in Jesus and act in faith. That is the touch that brings transformation. Jesus is still healing today; reach out in faith and receive your miracle!

Prayer Points:
1. Lord, help me to grow in faith, so that my faith may get results.
2. Every mountain of impossibility in my life should melt away.
