Text: 1 Peter 2:16-21
Memory Verse: “For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps” (1 Peter 2:21).
As followers of Christ, we are called to emulate His example in every aspect of our lives. Jesus lived a life of selflessness, love, and humility, demonstrating to us the essence of true discipleship. Jesus Christ suffered for
our sake, leaving behind His example for us to follow. His life was marked by sacrificial love and obedience to the Father’s will. As we navigate our own journeys, let us look to Jesus as our guide, walking in His footsteps with
unwavering faith and devotion (1 Peter 2:21). Philippians 2:3-5 emphasises the importance of humility and selflessness in our interactions with others. Jesus Himself embodied these virtues, always prioritising the needs of others above His own. As Christians, it is an obligation to adopt the same mindset of Christ, seeking to serve and uplift those around us without seeking recognition or personal gain.
We are called to imitate God and walk in love, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us (Ephesians 5:1&2). Jesus’ love was boundless and unconditional, extending even to those who betrayed and crucified Him. As
His children, we should reflect His love in our words and actions, becoming vessels of His grace and compassion to a world in need. Let us commit ourselves to following the example of Christ in all that we do. His life should serve as a beacon of light and hope, guiding us on the path of righteousness and leading us ever closer to the heart of God.
Prayer Points:

2. God, let me always be reminded of Your will for my life.
