Text: Job 23:1-10
Memory Verse: “But He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold” (Job 23:10).
Job faced many trials, in the process of which he lost everything he had. His grief was so great that his friends sat on the ground with him for seven days unable to speak to him. Despite all the challenges, he refused to curse God and die, as advised by his wife. Job kept looking unto God for his breakthrough because he knew that God had a plan and purpose for his passing through those trials.
God, who created you already has a perfect plan for your future and wants that plan and purpose fulfilled (Jeremiah 29:11). However, in the actualisation of it, you may need to go through some challenges that will test your dexterity and faith. But rest assured that, in it all, the counsel of God shall stand as you align with Him. Fear not, there is hope and a great future for you, as you allow God to guide and lead you.
The scriptures say, “There are many devices in a man’s heart; Nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand” (Proverbs 19:21). “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye” (Psalm 32:8). Do not go around in circles, for you will never be stranded. God will direct your steps to fulfill His purpose. Commit your life into His hands. Look unto Him, the author and finisher of your faith.
Prayer Points:
1. Lord, help me to discover and fulfill Your purpose for my life.
2. Lord, please lead me in the way I should go, so my life can give You glory.
