Text: Daniel 12:1-4
Memory Verse: “The secret things belong to the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law” (Deuteronomy 29:29).
Have you ever taken a moment to reflect on how rapidly knowledge has increased over the last fifty years? There was a time when the telephone was seen as an incredible invention and computers were mysterious machines reserved for a select few. Today, technology has become a common part of everyday life. People casually use smartphones and computers while in cars, on buses, or walking down the street. Knowledge has truly exploded on an unprecedented scale.
To the ungodly, this surge in knowledge might suggest that God has stepped back or lost control. But as believers, we understand that nothing happens outside of God’s will. He remains sovereign. It has pleased Him to release this level of knowledge at this appointed time for His divine purposes. According to Deuteronomy 29:29, the knowledge revealed to us is given that we and our children may serve the Lord, walk in His truth and obey His laws.
We must also recognise that this age of rapid advancement is one of the signs pointing to the second coming of Christ. These developments are not random; rather, they are part of God’s timeline. The end-time clock is ticking.
So, how are we using the knowledge available to us today? Are we drawing closer to God or drifting away? As children of God, we must harness this knowledge to proclaim the gospel and advance the Kingdom, using every tool available to glorify our Father in heaven.
Prayer Points:
1. Lord, help me to trust You as I access Your knowledge daily.
2. Help me to use the knowledge You release to me to propagate Your message.
