Text: John 4:19-24
Memory Verse: “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him” (John 4:23).
Consider this profound truth: the Almighty God is in want of something! He craves it daily. It is nothing else, but finding those who will constantly satisfy Him with joy and gladness. Truly profound, is it not? Anyone and everyone can serve in this course, and it is an opportunity like no other because it translates into the ultimate state of grace, which facilitates victory over every shortcoming in our lives.
Worshipping in truth, however, is the other pillar of the way to worship. In John 14:6, our Lord Jesus Christ unveiled that He is the truth, and John 17:17 declares that God’s written word is the same truth. These scriptures point to the truth being one, not two different phenomena because John 1 declares that Jesus is the Word of God.
Worshipping in truth, therefore, is observing the acts of worship using Jesus as the standard; or simply put, acting as directed in the Bible. So, when praying, remember that there is a biblical way to adopt. The same thing applies to singing, giving, and all other acts of worship. Anything different is unacceptable to God.
Conclusively, just as metal is attracted to magnetic fields, worshiping in the right way attracts God to us; and, by extension, ensures endless interactions with the extraordinary. As these interactions happen, our natural lives become the home of the supernatural. So, do it right all the time!

1. Dear Father, let my life find delight in Your word daily.
2. Dear Father, may my life express truthful worship all the time, creating atmospheres to which You are joyfully drawn.
