Text: Ephesians 6:10-18
Memory Verse: “Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil” (Ephesians 6:11).
God has not left us in darkness as His beloved children. In Ephesians 6, He clearly outlines what we must do, especially in these perilous times. The first charge is to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. This is not optional, it is a divine instruction. To withstand the storms, confusion, and evil around us, you must be deeply rooted and strengthened in the Lord. How do you do this? By spending quality time in His presence, waiting on Him in prayer, worship, and the Word. When this becomes your regular habit, your strength is renewed, and your spirit fortified.
Once you are strong, the next step is to put on the whole armour of God. Not just some, but the entire armour. This is the only way to stand against the schemes, deceit, and subtle strategies of the devil. These are evil days, and half measures will not suffice. We must be alert, prepared, and spiritually armed (1 Corinthians 9:27).
Begin with the belt of truth, which anchors all other pieces. Then wear the breastplate of righteousness, living in integrity and in right standing with God. Take the gospel of peace everywhere you go; let it be in your mouth and in your character. Take up the shield of faith to extinguish every fiery dart of the enemy. Cover your head with the helmet of salvation, and wield the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Armed with these, you will stand victorious.
Prayer Points:
1. Father, give me the grace to put on the whole armour of God.
2. Lord, enable me to do all that l need to do to stand victorious in You always.
