Voice of Men Not God’s Voice 2

Text: Psalm 25:4-9
Memory Verse: “Show me Your ways, O LORD; Teach me Your paths” (Psalm 25:4).

Yesterday, we examined how vastly different God’s ways are from those Yof the natural man; so different they are like two parallel lines that never meet. Indeed, the natural man and God do not speak the same language. The Bible repeatedly contrasts God’s perspective with that of man, reminding us that divine wisdom often appears foolish to the flesh.

Understanding this truth has three vital implications:

1. A wholehearted willingness to learn God’s ways is essential for genuine spiritual growth. Spiritual maturity does not happen by accident. It results from a daily surrender and alignment with God’s mind, no matter how contrary it seems to the world’s opinion.

2. If you desire to lead others to God, never seek human approval in place of divine direction. Only God knows how best to reach and transform a soul. Those who compromised God’s instructions to please people, like King Saul, paid dearly for it (1 Samuel 15:24-26). A ministry that pleases men often offends God. Follow divine instruction, not popular opinion.

3. You cannot raise spiritual people using carnal tools. Many modern church strategies designed to entertain, impress, or manipulate, may draw crowds, but often fail to build character. These tactics produce believers who appear spiritual outwardly, but lack depth. True discipleship requires divine input and godly models.

Let us commit to learning God’s ways with diligence and humility. It may not be easy, but it is always worth it. May God help us devote ourselves to learning and walking in His ways.

Prayer Points:
1. Father, please show me Your ways and teach me Your path.
2. Lord, grant me the ability to always distinguish the voice of God and follow it.
