Text: Luke 24:25-35
Memory Verse:“And they said to one another, ‘Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?’” (Luke 24:32).

Two disciples of Jesus were on their way to Emmaus after His resurrection. He walked beside them and even ate with them, yet they were slow in recognising His presence. This reminds us that without divine illumination, one may walk with the truth and still not perceive it. The
Emmaus experience points us to the need for spiritual discernment in daily journeys.

The road to Emmaus represents the path to divine wisdom and the unveiling of spiritual treasures. An encounter with Jesus transforms our perspective and helps us to see beyond the natural. He opens our eyes to the reality of His calling, reveals the riches of His glory and assures us of the inheritance reserved for His children. Such encounters shift us into higher realms of understanding and purpose (Ephesians 1:18).

“…Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?”(Luke 24:30-32). May the Lord God open your inner eyes of understanding, so you can run with the vision of God for your life and fulfill purpose.

Do you desire a glorious tomorrow and heaven at last? Then keep your gaze on Jesus, the author and the finisher of your faith. He never abandons His own. As you walk this journey may your heart burn with His word and your eyes remain open to His presence until you arrive safely at the eternal promises (Hebrews 13:5).

Prayer Points:
1. Father, open my eyes to see my mansion in heaven and please do not let me
miss it.
2. Lord, please open my inner eyes to see You.
