Text: Proverbs 3:1-8

Memory Verse: “In all thy ways acknowledge Him, And he shall direct
your paths” (Proverbs 3:6).

God’s way is the path of righteousness, peace, and abundant life. Proverbs 3 encourages us to trust in the Lord wholeheartedly, acknowledging His wisdom above our understanding. When we submit our ways to Him, He promises to guide us on straight paths (Take note of the condition here). Jesus proclaimed Himself as the way, the truth, and the life in John 14:6. He is the ultimate embodiment of God’s way, showing us the path to salvation and
eternal fellowship with the Father. Following Jesus and not solely depending on our own physical strength and wisdom leads us to abundant life now and forever. Most times when we do not follow the lead of God and do things our own way, the end result is often not what God has purposed for us and some even end in regret.

We are reminded of the vast difference between God’s ways and our own in Isaiah 55:8&9. His ways are higher and His thoughts deeper. Surrendering to His wisdom requires humility and trust, but it leads to blessings beyond the
measure of our own human comprehension and efforts. Let us commit to walking in God’s way each day and always, trusting in His guidance alone, following Jesus as our example, and submitting our plans to His sovereign will (Proverbs 16:3,9). As we align our lives with God’s way, we will experience His peace, innermost joy, abundant blessings, and fulfilment.

Prayer Points:
1. Lord, help us to trust in Your ways above our own understanding.
2. Lord, give us grace to submit to your wisdom.
