Text: Acts 26:12-20
Memory Verse: “at midday, O king, along the road I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining around me and those who journeyed with me” (Acts 26:13).
Paul had a story to tell. He had met the Lord, personally, on his way to Damascus and he was always willing to share his story. The experience was vivid in his mind and worth sharing (Acts 22:6-16; 26:12-18). All he did was recount what happened step by step, revealing God’s miraculous intervention in his life. Peter had been there with Jesus and had a firsthand account of practically all that happened particularly with regards to His life, death and resurrection. He had a story to tell and said to the people repeatedly “We are witnesses of it” (Acts 2:32;3: 15;5:32;10:39). The blind man who Jesus healed in John 9 could not be silenced either. He knew that an unprecedented miracle had happened
to him. He who was born blind had been healed. He had a story to tell.
How often do you tell others all that God has done in your life? Your life’s experiences are unique and worth sharing. You must seize every opportunity totell of His goodness, mercy, power and mighty works to the glory of His name
and for the benefit of your listeners. Practical life’s experiences drive points home faster than any other form of teaching. That is why the Bible says that you may comfort others with the comfort with which you have been comforted (2 Corinthians 1:4). Share your testimonies to the glory of God and to encourage others so they can
trust in Him too.
Prayer Points:
1. Grant me boldness to testify of Your goodness in my life, O Lord.
2. Father, may I not be guilty of belittling and underrating Your miracles.
