God Does Not Forget His Promises

Text: Exodus 2:23-25

Memory Verse: “God heard their groaning and He remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac and with Jacob” (Exodus 2:24).

God does not forget His promises; they may be delayed, but they cannot be denied. I have found out that the testimony is always sweetest when you have passed through hell and high waters and you have been written off. Then suddenly, God steps in and you escape like a bird, and people are wondering how it happened. In Exodus 2:24, the Bible tells us that God remembered the covenant He made with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob concerning the children of Israel who had been in bondage for 430 years. Those years were enough to make them think they
would not come out of Egypt. They had become used to suffering and bondage, such that they were not even expecting anything, but God remembered them because He does not forget His promises.

Zechariah and Elizabeth came from the lineage of priests (Luke 1). They were both righteous and walking in all commandments blameless, yet they had no child and had grown old. Often, God will allow every flesh to be silent so that He will take the glory because He does not want to share His glory with another, so don’t dare write yourself off. God will visit you and your testimony will be double.

Elizabeth hid herself for five months but, after that period, the miracle spoke for her. Your miracle will speak, you are not going to be the one talking about it; people are going to see it and glorify God in your life.

Prayer Points:
1. Loving Saviour, hear my cry today and remember my family.
2. Lord, this season, let my miracle speak for me.
