Text: Genesis 8:1-5

Memory Verse: Then God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided (Genesis 8:1).

Have you been in situations, like valleys, where you felt that God did not care; situations where you could not provide any logical reason for what was going on in your life or in which people you thought would always be there for you became the chief mockers? Days became long nights and the future appeared hopeless. The great joy, however, is that God always appeared at the right time (Psalm 46:1).

Noah had a great testimony. While all men became increasingly wicked, he “was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God” (Genesis 6:9). God chose him to continue a new human generation. God
commanded him to build an ark. He spent about a hundred years constructing the ark and preaching to the people to enter it for their own safety. At God’s command, he, his family members and selected animals entered the
ark while others ignored and mocked him. Then the flood came. He spent a total of one hundred and fifty days in the ark, surrounded by flood water and seeming hopelessness. God did not forget Noah. At the appropriate time, the Holy Spirit moved, ended the flood and its doom, and a new day came for Noah and his family.

Your situation cannot be different. God is thinking about you daily. He knows what He is going to do. Do not panic. Do not be anxious. God cares about you. He is working out things in your favour.

Prayer Points:
1. Lord, help me to always be where You want me to be, doing what You want me to do.
2. Lord, help me to always remember that You can never give up on me.
