Text: Judges 6:6-12
Memory Verse: “And Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites and the children of Israel cried unto the Lord” (Judges 6:6).
When the people of God were afflicted they cried unto God. They reached out and began to celebrate His mercy and grace and, so, God’s answer came to them. An Angel visited the people because God’s mercy always prevails. That is the joy of serving God. Our God is a God of mercy and grace. Every time you lean on His mercy and grace, He always shows up. And the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, “The Lord is with you. You mighty man of Valor” (Judges 6:12).
The grace and the mercy of God will consistently speak over your life. Mercy and grace will overrule on your behalf, you will not continue the way you are. The hand of God is upon your life. His glory is upon you. His purpose shall be
fulfilled in your life. Child of God, everything may fail, but the mercy of God will never fail. Mountains and hills may look so high and insurmountable. Trust the Lord who keeps to His promise, it is called the sure mercy of David …
“But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed…” (Isaiah 54:10).
This is why you know that no enemy can stop you. Your days of failure and weeping are over. The mercy of God is turning things around in your favour. Fear not, rest in the grace and mercy of God. Your days of shame, disgrace,
humiliation, embarrassment and ridicule are over.
Prayer Points:
1. Lord, let Your mercy locate me.
2. I cry to You Lord, please hear me and let me hear from You.
