Text: Isaiah 43:16-19
Memory Verse: “Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert” (Isaiah 43:19).
Our God is a good God! We bless His holy name for granting us the strength and grace to be living witnesses of the days of each year. Truly, He has not called us to seek Him in vain. Our skies are now heavy; laden with miracles and answers to prayers.
Indeed, today marks the beginning of great and wonderful things for us all as we journey through the year. Be fully convinced that new and glorious things will begin to unfold in our lives, fellowship, church, and nation. We shall not record any loss- the One who sustained Moses for 120 years in the land of the living is our Father.
Throughout Scripture, every serious encounter with God marked by an altar raised unto Him resulted in promises, covenants, and divine visitations. From Noah’s sacrifice (Genesis 8:20–22), to Abraham’s encounters (Genesis 15 & 17), God always began something new with those who sought Him earnestly. In 2 Chronicles 7:14, God assures us of healing and restoration when His people humble themselves through prayer and fasting.
As we step into this new season of divine visitation and help from above, we must commit to the following:
1. Fellowshiping with God continually and striving for spiritual maturity.
2. Fleeing from all appearances of evil and sin.
3. Trusting and waiting patiently on the Lord.
4. Walking in total obedience and being willing to serve Him.
The grace of God will be activated in your life to do all these faithfully.
Prayer Points:
1. Ask that the grace of God upon you will be maximally activated this year.
2. Where do you need a new beginning? Talk to God about it again.
