Text: Psalm 121:1-8.
Memory Verse: “My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth” (Psalm 121:2).
God, our help in ages past, remains a loving Father and a compassionate Lord. He is ever-present, helping us in countless ways. Amid the pressures and uncertainties of life, He stabilises our hearts and minds, preserving our peace and sanity. He watches over us day and night,
for by His very nature, He neither sleeps nor slumbers. He is Spirit, not bound by flesh and His goodness and mercy endure forever.
The Lord frustrates the plans of the wicked, rendering their schemes powerless. He is your refuge, your strength, and your constant shield. Whether seen or unseen, He protects you from harm, shielding you from the harsh elements of life and guarding you against both visible and invisible dangers. His promises are sure. He has declared that He will order your steps, ensuring that you remain within His perfect will. What a profound assurance; a divine covering that serves as spiritual and physical protection.
This same God who created the heavens and the earth by His spoken word can bring into existence anything that does not yet exist. He is not limited by time, space, or circumstance. His help is never delayed, and His power is never diminished. So cheer up, child of God. No matter what you are facing, be encouraged: divine help is on the way. Trust in the God who has helped you before. He is faithful to do it again. Hold firm to His promises. The Lord is your helper, now and always.
Prayer Points:
1. Heavenly father, thank You for being my helper.
2. Please help me to hold on to Your promises until they become reality in my life.
