Philippians 3:10-14
Memory Verse:
“that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death” (Philippians 3:10)

God’s expectation of us is to keep desiring to know Christ more. Apostle Paul worked with a generation of faithful Christians who were, in their time, accused of “turning the world upside down” because of their zeal for the spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ (Acts 17:6). He
served God faithfully and unrelentingly. He established many churches and won souls for Christ.
Towards the end of his ministry, he testified that, “…the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, …and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing” (2 Timothy 4:6-8).
Surprisingly, despite all his salvation assurances and testimonies, he kept desiring to know God the more, gain more grounds and do more exploits to the glory of God. You too must seek God on a daily basis, have passion for lost souls, hunger for the Word of God, show love to others, forget your past achievements and look forward to what lies ahead; knowing fully well that a complacent Christian cannot experience revival. If you want to be successful, it is vital that you study and follow other successful people (1 Corinthians 11:2). Be motivated by the example of Apostle Paul and
keep desiring to know Jesus Christ more. Press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Prayers Points:
1. Lord, create hunger for knowing You more in me.
2. Father, give me the grace to finish well and finish strong.
