Text: Ephesians 4:1-3
Memory Verse: “I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called” (Ephesians 4:1).
Are you doing what God called you to do? Every believer has a divine Aassignment, uniquely designed by God for His glory. Your calling is not general; it is a specific way God has chosen for you to serve Him and make a difference. As God told Jeremiah, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you” (Jeremiah 1:5). Likewise, God has known and called you for a purpose.
Fulfilling your calling requires more than passion; it demands growth, consistency, and discernment. Stay committed to learning and developing in your area of influence. (Proverbs 24:5). Keep pressing forward; there is always more to learn and more ways to serve.
Be mindful of “call blockers” like fear, discouragement, busyness, and comparison. These can distract and derail you. Hebrews 12:1 urges us, “Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us”. Victory comes through prayer, focus, and the help of the Holy Spirit.
Your calling matters for eternity. One day, you will give an account to God (Romans 14:12). Live with urgency and purpose. Live intentionally, rely on the Spirit, and let your life reflect God’s glory. Now is the time to step into your purpose. It is not too late to make your life count for eternity.
Prayer Points:
1. Father, grant me the grace to do all that is required for Your purpose to be fulfilled through my life.
2. I receive power to remain faithful to my calling, I will finish well.
