True Healing And True Salvation

Text: Jeremiah 17:14-18
Memory Verse: “Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed. Save me, and I
shall be saved. For You are my praise” (Jeremiah 17:14).

To be healed is to experience restoration and wholeness. True healing, Thowever, goes beyond physical recovery; it encompasses spiritual restoration and forgiveness of sins. Sin is the root cause of spiritual sickness and disease, and only God can provide forgiveness and salvation. This is why Jesus came to earth in human form, sacrificing His life to save humanity from sin (Hebrews 9:26).

Prophet Jeremiah’s heartfelt prayer acknowledges God’s power to provide true and thorough healing. It was motivated by his awareness of sins and backslidings, as well as the corruption of his people. He recognised that only God could grant genuine healing and restoration. His cry for healing was a desperate call for spiritual renewal and forgiveness. You can follow Jeremiah’s example by crying out to God for healing.

The good news is that God is always willing to heal and restore. Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross provides the basis for your healing, and His power is still available to you today. If you are struggling with sin, corruption, or sickness, do not despair. There is a Healer who can restore you to wholeness and health. All you need to do is call on Him, and He will heal you.

So, take a step of faith today and cry out to God for healing. Acknowledge your sins and weaknesses and ask for His forgiveness and restoration. Trust in His power to heal and save, and declare His praise in your life.

Prayer Points:
1. Lord, heal me and let me be restored.
2. Father, heal our land.
