Text: John 4:5-15
Memory Verse: “The woman said to Him, ‘Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw’” (John 4:15).
When a man is thirsty, nothing satisfies like water. Numerous bottles of soft drinks or fruit juice cannot truly quench thirst; only water does. Water is essential to life, and when you are thirsty, you must drink it. Jesus said to the Samaritan woman, “Anyone who drinks this water will soon become thirsty again. But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life” (John 4:13&14, NLT). There is a kind of water that gives eternal life; that was what Jesus introduced to her. This same living water is mentioned in Revelation 22:17 NLT, “Come! Let anyone who is thirsty come. Let anyone who desires drink freely from the water of life.” This water of life is Jesus Christ Himself.
So, what do you thirst for? Is it love, acceptance, security, purpose, or fulfillment? Only Jesus can truly satisfy whatever your heart desires. Come, drink of Him, He is your salvation, your strength, your strategy, your self-
worth, and your ultimate source. Any other source is temporary and unreliable. Seek Him, know Him, and draw from Him daily and it shall be well with your soul.
When you drink from the water of life, you will live abundantly and eternally. More so, rivers of living water will flow from within you (John 7:38). So, beloved, come. Drink deeply of Jesus, the water of life.

1. Lord Jesus, be my source in all things from today.
2. Lord Jesus, let Your living water flow from my belly from today I pray.
