Text: Proverbs 5:11-20
Memory Verse: “For why should you my son be enraptured by an immoral woman, and be embraced in the hands of a seductress” (Proverbs 5:20).
Fornication is when two unmarried people have sexual intimacy. The sin of immorality is a destructive one. Every act of lust committed makes reservation for the sinner in hell. If you can keep away from sexual sin, then agents of darkness will be far away from you. The act of fornication serves the fornicator a bitter pill to swallow. Examine yourself and make sure the cause of the bitterness in your life is not sin.
There is a close relationship between fornication, death and hell. Through one act of immorality, you can lose your salvation and destiny to hell. Immorality separates one from having fellowship with God. Immorality serves a bitte pill, you would not want to taste it. Avoid pornography, X-rated films and even being too close to the opposite sex.
Being filled with the Holy Spirit and the fear of God, was what helped Joseph to flee from Potiphar’s wife. He ran for his dear life. Fornication robs its captorsof honour and wastes their years, though brief and shameful, so be careful!
You need to immediately repent, separate from the sinning partner and soak yourself in the scripture, pray fervently and avoid anything that can make you fall again. Every fornicator attracts agents of darkness into their lives. The
Bible says “Flee fornication” (1 Corinthians 6:18). Fornication is a sin against the body and it is also deadly. God loves the sinner and does not want him to perish. Run to Him today.

1. Lord, give our youths the grace to flee fornication.
2. Release power over all forms of immorality to me, O Lord.
