Text: John 5:5-8

Memory Verse: “The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steps down before me” (John 5:7).

Every believer is one man away from receiving the answer to the biggest and greatest request of the Lord. Men are systems through which answers from heaven are routed. This is why it is critical to pay attention to relationships. Many answers came in packages that really did not look like it and many have missed out. Our inner eye has to be circumcised to really know men for who they are and, as such, treat them accordingly.

Truly, the man considered in John 5:7 had no man and his journey was so tough and long, even when the destination was within eyesight. For 38 years he was fighting alone and even when he was close to his solution he could not access it because he had no one to help him, until God came through Jesus as a man to help him. God seldom comes from heaven to help us; He sends men. Even when He sends angels, oftentimes, they come in the comeliness of men.

Men are doors and, sometimes, access points to the miracles we seek. So, one of the greatest blessings of the Lord is to put the right men in our lives. He can raise critical and valuable men around us. If you lack men, you may start the journey of destiny and actually not arrive at
the critical or apex point of destiny. Men are, sometimes, God’s vessels for answering prayers!

Prayer Points:
1. Lord, forgive me for answers that came through men that I could not discern.
2. Lord, surround me with the right men that will go all out for me.
