Genesis 39:1-5
Memory Verse:
“The Lord was with Joseph and he prospered and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master” (Genesis 39:2).
God created us for His glory that we may fulfil destiny and Gpurpose. When the time is not ripe for God to give you something you desire, He makes you go through a waiting period. God will not give you a blessing, if it is not yet the appointed time for it, because He does not have interest in your destruction. That is why sometimes we pray, fast, cry and plead with God for certain things but it
seems He is far away.
No matter the issues of life or the challenges you might be going through, believe that Jehovah sees as well as knows. He is your peace. He is walking with you and taking you to an expected end. Joseph had to go through betrayals, slavery and even the prison to be prepared for where God was taking him. David had to suffer in the hands of King Saul to prepare him for the task ahead. There is always a season of preparation for every major victory.
God is more interested in building character. That is why you must be patient to go through whatever life brings. He will never leave or forsake you. Hannah waited, Sarah waited and they got the promised children. Do not be tired of waiting; the best is coming your way. Have you prayed?
Wait for the answer. It will soon come. God does not come late. Jehovah sees, Jehovah knows.

1. Lord, help me to wait for my appointed time.
2. Lord, see me through the challenges of life.
