Text:
2 Peter 3:1-5
Memory Verse:
“Where is the promise of His coming, since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were” (2 Peter 3:4).
Jesus is coming back soon’ is a statement that has been echoed for ages. We Jare reminding ourselves that someday we will all stand before our Creator to give an account of our lives. Whether just or unjust, you will one day stand before the judgement throne to give account of how you spent every breath that you have taken.
God has deposited so many talents and resources in you. How are you making use of them? How is your life impacting your fellow human beings? Have you brought joy, comfort and laughter to people, or are you unleashing hardship on them? Do you have a carefree attitude towards others?
Remember, “all the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats” (Matthew 25:32).
God’s most important commandments are:
Love God with all your heart and love your neighbour as yourself.
Do the work of an evangelist.
Are you carrying out these instructions? Remember the rich man and Lazarus. It is not all about prayers and church meetings, but about the lives you are able to touch and the warmth you were able to give others. Prepare yourself for the second coming of the Lord because Jesus is coming back to take His beloved home. Are you ready? Are you watching and waiting? Let Jesus so fill your heart that He will be all that matters to you, and tell others about His second coming. Maranatha.
Prayer Points:
1. Help me to love You, Lord, with the whole of my heart.
2. Lord, help me to remain rapturable.
