Text: Mark 16:14-20
Memory Verse:“they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover” (Mark 16:18).
Laying hands can bring mighty impartation and diverse possibilities in ways that cannot be explained by human wisdom. God has called us to live as new citizens in the eternal Kingdom that is characterised with demonstration of power and to witness the word to bring supernatural recovery of souls of men. Christ Jesus said that anyone who believes in Him will be able to handle snakes with safety, just like Apostle Paul did, and if they drink anything poisonous, it will not hurt them. They will also be able to lay their hands on the sick and heal them. Disciples of Christ Jesus truly demonstrated this with the power of God.
The power to perform miraculous signs has been conferred on you as a believer in Christ Jesus. You must, therefore, not be running after miracle workers. You are to be a custodian of miraculous signs, if you have genuinely surrendered to the lordship of Jesus Christ. If you have not been able to pray for the sick to receive miraculous healings since you gave your life to the Lord Jesus Christ, you simply need to check your alignment and submission to the Lord.
If you are going to lay hands on the sick to recover, the hands of God must first be upon you. You must truly repent and become a yielded vessel in the hands of the Lord. Have you accepted Christ as Lord of your life? Are you living in the power of the Holy Spirit?

1. Father, help my unbelief.
2. O God, I surrender to You afresh, sanctify me and anoint my hand with Your mighty power to effect supernatural recovery.
