No Harvest Without Sowing 2

Text: Mark 4:24-32
Memory Verse: “but when it is sown, it grows up and becomes greater than all
herbs, and shoots out large branches, so that the birds of the air may find nest
under its shade” (Mark 4:32).

The process of reaping a harvest varies; sometimes, results come quickly, while at other times, they require patience and endurance. The timing of the harvest depends on the type of seed sown. Galatians 6:7&8 clearly states, “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.”If one sows to please the sinful nature, destruction follows, but if one sows to please the Spirit, eternal life is the reward.

Hosea 10:12 reinforces this principle: “Sow for yourselves righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the Lord until He comes and rains righteousness upon you.” When you sow righteousness, you reap the fruits of unfailing love and divine mercy. Likewise, Obadiah 1:15 states, “As you have done, it shall be done to you; your reprisal shall return upon your own head.” These scriptures emphasise that your actions, good or
bad, will ultimately determine the reward God will give you.

One of the most important areas where God expects you to sow is in soul winning. Dedicating your time, efforts, wisdom, and resources to leading others to Christ is an investment that yields eternal rewards. By depopulating the kingdom of darkness and enriching the Kingdom of God, you align yourself with divine purpose.

Therefore, sow good seeds, remain steadfast, and trust in God’s perfect timing.
The Lord will surely reward your faithfulness with a bountiful harvest.

Prayer Points:
1. Father, help me to be a genuine sower.
2. Help me Lord, not to be weary in doing well, so I can reap my harvest.
