Ephesians 1:19
Memory Verse:
“and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power” (Ephesians 1:19).
People claim to have powers, some even using diabolical powers. Over the years, different people have demonstrated and displayed one kind of power in one way or the other. In as much as we are not disputing the fact that they have some kind of powers, we want to establish the fact that not
all powers are the same. The power of God Almighty is unique, supreme and cannot be compared to any other.
One of the differences between the power of God and others is the fact that other powers threaten or oppress people, are limited and are not everlasting; meaning they can fail or expire but the power of God Almighty is from everlasting to everlasting. It has no limitation, and edifies to the glory of God. We see an example of the revelation of God’s power in Exodus 14 as the children
of Israel crossed the Red Sea. The children of Israel had been in captivity for 430 years; 430 years of hard labour, bondage, suffering and of being second class citizens. The Lord revealed His power over the Egyptians using Moses’ encounter with the Egyptian magicians, the 10 plagues, the Passover, the Pillar of cloud by day and Pillar of fire by night. Finally, the children of Israel
regained their freedom and no matter how long that problem has been, the Lord will make you whole.
Will you call on God today the way Moses called upon Him? Will you obey the instructions He will give you just like Moses did?
Prayer Points:
1. Let the power of God be revealed and every Egyptian in my life be permanently silenced.
2. Let there be a way out of every Red Sea that has become a stumbling block to my progress. I declare that my freedom is permanent.
