Text: 2 Samuel 9:1-10
Memory Verse:“And the king called to Ziba, Saul’s servant, and said to him, ‘I have given to your master’s son all that belonged to Saul and to all his house’”(2 Samuel 9:9).
man was denied the opportunity to contest for the Deputy AChairmanship of the organisation that oversees activities of Private School owners at the Local Government level. Shortly after that, he got a call to help settle a dispute via the telephone. Unknown to him, the Governor was listening to the matter. Two days later, he was invited early in the morning to see the Governor who gave him an immediate appointment as his Special Assistant with an office and an official car.
Mephibosheth slept as an abandoned and forgotten man without hope in LoDebar, and woke up to the news of the king’s invitation. This invitation turned out to be a blessing as the king decided to show him kindness for his father, Jonathan’s sake. This year you will also receive some news and an
invitation that will bring to you a sudden turnaround for good. See the way Mephibosheth described himself “What is your servant, that you should look upon such a dead dog as I”. He saw himself as a dead dog, good for nothing. Is your story like that, hopeless and a nobody? The God of sudden turnaround will visit you this year and give your life meaning with a positive sudden turnaround. Though Mephibosheth was crippled in both legs, he was honoured to begin to
dine with the king at his table and all his grandfather’s property restored to him. Maybe he had been struggling to eat and feed before, treated without honour, but now things turned around in his favour. This shall be your testimony this year in Jesus’ name.
Prayer Points:
1. Father, I can see everything turning around for my good this year.
2. I decree, my life will receive a sudden divine turnaround this year.
