Romans 8:10-19
Memory Verse:
“For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God” (Romans 8:19).
The supreme task of the Church is the evangelism of the world, but many times we see it as an almost impossible task. We forget that the Church is the most powerful force on earth because Christians are the Temple of the Holy Spirit.
The world needs something different; the manifestation of the sons of God. We must yield ourselves to Him and be broken before Him. God uses broken things. It takes broken soil to produce a crop, broken clouds to give rain, broken grain to give bread and broken bread to give strength. It was the broken alabaster box that gave forth perfume and it was the broken Peter, who
wept bitterly, that returned with greater power! The secrets of manifesting as sons of God starts with experiencing the love of God and receiving the gift of salvation. With salvation comes the sealing of and indwelling by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit helps us clean up our lives so that the world can see God in us (2 Corinthians 4:2). We then present our lives as a living sacrifice. The Holy Spirit then gives us direction in the way to follow God and the grace to live in ways that please Him. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God (Romans 8:14).
The word of God is the comprehensive equipment that God uses in changing men (2 Timothy 3:16&17). Are you ready to obey the great commission of our Lord Jesus Christ?

1. Lord, forgive me for not obeying Your instructions about evangelism in the past.
2. Father, grant me the grace to carry out the great commission.
