1 Kings 1:5-17

Memory Verse:
“She replied, ‘My Lord, you made a vow before the Lord your God when you said to me, “Your son Solomon will surely be the next king and will sit on my throne”” (1 Kings 1:17 NLT).

An intercessor is someone who intercedes or pleads on someone else’s behalf, a mediator. Moses was an intercessor for Israel (Exodus 33:16-17), Samuel for Saul, Abigail on behalf of her husband,
Nabal, and Bathesheba interceded for her son, Solomon. The destiny of children will be greater and their entitlement will not be given to someone else, if they have fighting and interceding mothers.
In 1 Kings 1, Bathsheba approached Nathan and King David to fight for Solomon’s right to the throne. Imagine if she had not risen up to the fight.
Adonijah might have stolen it or it may have been given to someone else! How many opportunities have your children lost, just because you did not stand for them in the place of prayer. This world is full of evil, so you have to redeem each day for your children in the place of prayer.
Are any of your children going through tough times academically, mentally, maritally or financially? It is time to call on heaven (Romans 10:1). The devil might not want your children to sit on their seats of honour, but it will not succeed, only if you can cry to heaven.
Mothers, now is the time to rise up and pray. Stop complicating the issue by cursing your children. Fight for the destiny, thrones and future of your children. Arise, for Adonijah is about to take what belongs to your child!

Prayer Points:
1. I take back everything the enemy has stolen from my children.
2. Father, help our mothers to be intercessors for their children.
